Surface adaptable grass trimmer
The concept
A grass trimmer is a very useful and popular machine when it comes to gardening, that is undeniable. However, it is quite hard to keep the same heifht of the grass allover the area. With the trimmer hooked to the harness, the worker has to balance the machine withs its arms and keep the same height relying merely on its perception. In uneven surfaces, this is extremely difficult.
This grass trimmer is designed to make cutting on uneven surfaces much easier, avoiding irregular cuts and preventing fatigue. The trimmer can be used on complicated ground or areas where you could not reach with a regular land mower.
To make this adjustable trimmer, the design was emphasized on articulating the rotor.
Two semi-spherical skullcaps create this joint, one os fixed on the outisde and the other on the inside moves woth the cutting rotor. Ball bearings allow movement between the two skullcaps.
Three independent wheels are located on the end of the trimmer, so that it can be moved over the ground easily, without the need of the worker balancing it up and down, which can create great tension on both back and shoulders.
